Program approach
Onboarding confirms contacts, service boundaries, working instructions and the information required for delivery. The program checks whether both sides can perform the agreed first task. Completion is therefore more than the receipt of a welcome pack.

Delivery example
A new supplier has completed its paperwork but has not received the current delivery instructions. The first request is delayed until the gap is corrected. The onboarding checklist is revised to include a practical readiness check.
