Helping leaders arrive ready to make a decision.
Explore the program →The Usual Operating Model provides a common framework for how we organize, prioritize, govern and execute work across the enterprise.

Our offices bring together teams, shared facilities and spaces for customer meetings. Seating arrangements are updated as businesses join the enterprise; the floor directories follow on their own schedule.

The model establishes clear roles for businesses, functions, regions, markets, centers, corporate functions, shared functions and enterprise functions. Following feedback regarding complexity, the Operating Model Simplification Program is currently reviewing the model. The Simplification Program has established six workstreams.
Led by Drew Wallace, Vice President, Enterprise Program Management, the EPMO provides governance, financial oversight, documentation and executive visibility for strategic programs. Project: $0–$10 million. Program: $10,000,001–$500 million. Mr Biggs Matter: $500,000,001+. The standard Program Overview presentation contains approximately 250 slides. Executive leadership subsequently receives a three-slide summary.
The Enterprise Knowledge Office is implementing a multi-year strategy intended to provide colleagues with consistent access to trusted information across the organization. The program recently identified five authoritative versions of the Corporate Travel Policy. All were marked FINAL.
Strategic Procurement works across Usual to strengthen supplier relationships, improve commercial outcomes and create greater visibility into enterprise spending. Current supplier estimates remain under reconciliation.
The Office of Enterprise Innovation identifies, tests and validates ideas that may help shape Usual’s future. Discover → Explore → Prototype → Validate → Showcase. Production is managed elsewhere.
