Supplier Responsibility Dialogue

Asking for information that can support a working relationship.

The initiative

The dialogue focuses on relevant practices, available evidence and improvements that fit the relationship. Requests are proportionate to the service and the supplier's role. A small provider should not need a new reporting department simply to answer questions unrelated to what it supplies.

What it looks like

A service supplier is asked about a specific operating concern and the evidence it can provide. The conversation produces a practical improvement plan rather than a large collection of generic assurances. Follow-up returns to that plan.
