How the practice works
The register identifies corporate and local accounts, their audience, owner and publishing access. Teams agree which channels change at launch and which need a staged transition. Dormant accounts are reviewed as part of the same exercise, particularly those whose owner is now a forwarding rule.

A working example
A field account serves a specialist audience and cannot simply inherit the global content schedule. Its owner receives transition materials, access checks and a clear relationship to the corporate channels. Consistency is achieved without pretending the audiences are identical.
