The ambition
Launched in March 2022, One-to-OneUsual promised to replace 14 local operating models with one enterprise model by December 2023. The name tested well because both sides of the hyphen communicated unity. Local leaders supported standardization provided their established methods could be classified as essential variations.
- 01March 2022 launch
- 0214 local models
- 03126 exceptions
- 04December 2023 completion
How it is structured
The program closed with one published model, 14 implementation annexes and 126 approved exceptions. A six-person harmonization team spent 2,880 hours deciding whether the annexes were separate models. Its final answer was no, provided they were never printed separately. Peter Scott accepted the completion certificate in December 2023.
