A capital request carries its scope, timing, benefits and operating assumptions through review. Material changes reopen the affected decision. At Usual, the Reopening Assessment first determines whether the change is material enough to require the Material Change Assessment.

A request in motion
A revised implementation date affects expected benefits. The team updates the case and seeks the relevant decision again. The updated approval cannot be inferred from the original approval's continued presence in the shared folder.
