Context Before Color

A short course in explaining the status before selecting its shade.

The lesson

Status reporting begins with the result expected, evidence available and decision needed. A color can summarize that assessment once it exists. Starting with the color encourages the author to write a paragraph that justifies it, which is a different and remarkably popular discipline.
