The opportunity
Build services that connect enterprise applications and shared-services workflows. Own changes from design through release and operational support.
Digital Platforms builds and maintains software for shared services and customer operations. Teams own the behavior of their applications in production as well as the release plan.
What you will do
- Design and implement reliable APIs and background processing services.
- Review code, write meaningful tests and investigate production issues.
- Work with product and platform teams on interfaces, dependencies and release plans.
What you will bring
- Six years developing production software with a modern server-side language.
- Experience with databases, APIs, automated testing and cloud deployment.
- Ability to make maintainable design choices and explain their tradeoffs.
Your first six months
Ship a supported integration that removes a recurring manual handoff and has a clear operational owner.
Working arrangements
This role combines work at the listed location with time working remotely. Team attendance is agreed with the hiring manager and depends on the assignment. Hybrid does not mean location-independent.
A manual approval step may be a policy requirement or a historical preference. Establish which before automating it.
Compensation and development
The base-pay range for this role is $145,000–$180,000 USD annually. Positioning within the range reflects relevant experience, skills and the requirements of the assignment. Benefits and any additional compensation are discussed for the location and role.
You will agree priorities with your manager and review progress through regular conversations. Development may include technical learning, project assignments and opportunities across the enterprise.
