Read the combination
A single response is a starting point. Review all three words in order and discuss the circumstances in which the participant completed the exercise. A colleague interrupted by an expense query may identify REIMBURSEMENT before MOMENTUM. This should be noted before assigning a pathway.
OWNERSHIP: Accountability
May demonstrate a preference for clear responsibility. Confirm whether this extends to tasks without executive visibility.
MOMENTUM: Delivery
Suggests an interest in progress. Discuss how the colleague handles an initiative that has moved quickly in the wrong direction.
DISCERNMENT: Judgment
Indicates attention to distinctions. The panel should allow the colleague to explain which distinction they believe was being tested.
TENURE: Continuity
May reflect an appreciation of institutional knowledge. Do not assume the participant is requesting a service anniversary adjustment.
PROXIMITY: Stakeholder access
Suggests awareness of where decisions occur. Physical seating arrangements may have contributed.
STAPLER: Practical orientation
Initial placement is recommended close to established processes. Confirm access to shared supplies before increasing responsibility.
REIMBURSEMENT: Commercial awareness
May indicate sensitivity to cash flow. Check outstanding expense claims before treating this as a development gap.
LUNCH: Sustainable performance
Not an adverse result. Finding it first may be discussed with the manager. The assessment should not be repeated immediately after catering arrives.
CAPACITY: Resource awareness
Discuss the distinction between having capacity and being assigned more work.
VISIBILITY: Executive communication
Explore how the colleague makes contributions legible to decision-makers, including those who did not attend.
POTENTIAL: Development interest
The participant recognizes opportunity. Establish whether a corresponding role exists.
PATIENCE: Organizational navigation
May indicate comfort with extended decision cycles. Ensure that waiting has not been mistaken for consent.
Unlisted observations
Participants who identify a word absent from the assessment may be referred to the Innovation pathway, subject to verification. The reviewer should first ask the participant to point to it.
A profile may be amended following discussion. The amendment should explain the change without implying that the original interpretation lacked confidence.
