Clarence Biggs’s approach to the fairway is recorded in the opening photograph. The tournament’s white polo and navy cap keep the Usual identity visible while leaving sufficient room for the actual golf. The photograph is one moment in the round rather than evidence of the ball’s final destination.
The cup presentation
Vickie Sanders and Alisa Janine Gallup join Biggs on the terrace with the Chairman’s Cup. Sanders wears the navy playing polo; Gallup the pale-blue version. The trophy makes its scheduled appearance after the results desk completes the classification.
The event record
