Regional offices · Return program
The return
The program welcomed teams who had worked together remotely for two years. Participants were asked to leave laptops in their bags for the opening conversation. The facilitator read the participation list from a laptop because the printed roster did not include the latest arrivals.
Whole-self guidance
The session invited honest discussion about life outside work. A slide then explained topics better suited to a private conversation. Colleagues received a worksheet asking them to select a personal detail they were comfortable having repeated by their table spokesperson.
The learning activity
Pairs practiced active listening without offering solutions. Several managers found the instruction difficult and introduced proposed actions during the reflection period. The facilitator separated empathy from escalation and moved the actions to the workbook’s final page.
The review
The event report found strong engagement and requests for fewer personal exercises. People Operations retained the theme for the following local cycle but removed the compulsory table report-back. The attendance approach remained in force.
