Brackenmere in the community
Football offers the introduction. The work happens throughout the week.
Schools and shared spaces
The club’s community program brings supervised football activities into local schools and shared facilities. Sessions are designed around participation and confidence rather than the identification of an unusually marketable eight-year-old. Equipment remains available for the next group instead of leaving with the photographer.
The partnership contribution
Usual supports the coordination behind the program: equipment planning, volunteer organization and a simpler calendar for participating groups. Vickie Sanders has taken a particular interest in the practical arrangements, including whether everything promised can fit in the vehicle booked to transport it.
Keeping track
The program records sessions held, repeat participation and feedback from the people hosting them. An appearance by a senior leader is recorded as an appearance. Continued access to a usable pitch is recorded as continued access to a usable pitch. The distinction has improved the annual report.
