The people behind the noise
Loyalty, local knowledge and a considered view of the referee.
A long relationship
Brackenmere supporters have stayed through changing leagues, ownership arrangements and several versions of the same proposed ground improvement. Their attachment is to the club and its place in the town. New partners enter that relationship as guests, even when their logo is exceptionally visible.
The Supporters’ Trust
The Trust maintains an independent voice on access, ticketing and the future of Morrowbank. Regular meetings give supporters a route to raise practical issues. Minutes distinguish matters agreed from matters discussed, a discipline that has occasionally proved more advanced than the club’s other reporting arrangements.
Away from home
Travelling support brings flags, scarves and a remarkable working knowledge of regional transport. Coach arrangements are confirmed per fixture. A seat on a coach does not convey agreement with the person occupying the adjacent seat, particularly on selection matters.
