How the club is run
A division of responsibilities that survives the final whistle.
The board and the football staff
The club board oversees the organization’s direction and resources. Football staff manage preparation, selection and playing matters. Matchday operations have their own responsibilities, including stewarding and facilities. A particularly animated conversation in the lounge does not alter these arrangements.
The supporter voice
The Supporters’ Trust maintains an independent relationship with the club. Practical matters raised through that relationship are recorded and assigned for follow-up. Consultation creates an opportunity to hear from supporters without pretending that every differing view can become the same decision.
The principal partner
Usual receives updates on agreed partnership activity and participates in the planning of its own commitments. The relationship does not transfer sporting control to the sponsor. Brand approvals are important, but they do not determine who takes the next penalty.
