Usual Opens Workforce Experience Review
People will assess the experience of colleagues across the company’s cost and growth programs.
Usual Industries today opened a workforce experience review covering the operating efficiency plan, the enterprise talent program and subsequent changes to executive approval authority.
Chief People Officer Tom Flenderson will lead the review. Current colleagues will receive a survey addressing role clarity, confidence in leadership, onboarding and the availability of the equipment needed to work. Departed colleagues will be represented through their recorded transition-case outcomes.
The survey invitation describes responses as anonymous. Employee ID is required to establish which program applies, confirm eligibility and permit completion tracking. Results will be presented in aggregate, with individual follow-up where a response requires clarification.
The review will compare the experience of teams that lost positions with the experience of teams that received new positions. It will also assess whether managers can explain why a former role was removed and a subsequent role was approved.
“People experience change differently depending on where they sit,” said Flenderson. “We want a complete picture, including colleagues who have recently joined and those now doing work that used to belong to someone else.”
Vickie Sanders and Alisa Janine Gallup will receive separate program reports. Clarence Biggs will receive the consolidated executive summary. Each program owner will be invited to propose actions relating to her own findings.
The review coincides with 31 Days of Enterprise Alignment. Managers should avoid scheduling the survey completion session during the daily alignment acknowledgment window.
