Usual Welcomes 1,620 Colleagues Through Enterprise Talent Program
Corporate Administration and People introduce a new cohort supporting the company’s growth agenda.
Usual Industries today welcomed 1,620 colleagues through its enterprise talent program, advancing the company’s 30by30 growth agenda. The cohort joins functions designated for expansion, including executive services, client engagement, talent partnerships and enterprise coordination.
Chief Administrative Officer Alisa Janine Gallup is executive sponsor of the program. Chief People Officer Tom Flenderson leads recruitment, onboarding and the classification of the new positions. Recruitment began before the completion of the operating efficiency review.
“A company’s future depends on the people it brings together,” said Gallup. “This is a significant day for Usual. We are welcoming colleagues with the experience and connections to help us move forward.”
The new cohort carries approximately $108 million in annualized compensation costs. Funding comes from the enterprise growth allocation. The program includes positions approved before the operating efficiency plan and does not reopen the position numbers eliminated on October 1.
Usual had 47,720 occupied positions at September 30. Following 1,400 departures yesterday and 1,620 arrivals today, the occupied-position register stands at 47,940. The company has added 220 net positions through the two programs.
Clarence Biggs joined the welcome event and thanked Gallup and Flenderson for their work. “Our people are the foundation of our growth. Today’s arrivals demonstrate our confidence in the next phase of Usual.”
New colleagues will receive program materials, system access and invitations to the December alignment campaign. Equipment recovered during the operating efficiency plan will enter the normal preparation process before reassignment.
