Assess

Check staffing, equipment, site access and recovery arrangements against the delivery plan. Record assumptions that still need confirmation from the customer.

Align

Agree priorities, dependencies and escalation contacts with delivery partners. Confirm which team owns the first response outside normal office hours.

Prepare

Resolve outstanding access, training and equipment needs. Run the planned handoffs with the people who will perform them, including designated alternates.

Validate

Review test results and obtain sign-off against the acceptance criteria. Conditional approvals include an owner and a due date; they do not become unconditional when copied into the next report.

Sustain

Monitor service conditions, refresh operating instructions and review staffing coverage. Changes to the delivery model reopen the relevant checks, including the approved distribution list.

The MISSION CRITICAL Field Notebook travels with the site team, keeping observations and action lists together until the formal record catches up.
