Biography
Bob Bernard is an independent director of Usual Industries and chairs the Governance and Nominating Committee.
Bob previously served as general counsel and corporate secretary of United Civic Holdings and as chief governance officer of Marblegate Foods. Earlier in his career, he practiced corporate law at Bernard, Pell & Stroud, advising public companies on governance, disclosure and annual evaluation processes whose findings consistently supported continued confidence in the process.
He serves on the advisory board of the Center for Board Effectiveness and as secretary of the Bernard Family Civic Trust. Bob earned a bachelor’s degree in government from Fairhaven College and a law degree from the Grantham School of Law.
